FAQ’s About Designing Your Outdoor Paradise

  • The first step is contacting us. You can click the button below or call (405)888-7574.

    After that we will schedule a design and construction consultation with you. This can happen at your home (which we prefer) or at our design center.

    During the consultation we will go through a series of questions to figure out exactly what your looking for. Additionally, we will assess the project site to try and identify the suitability of the construction site in relation to your desires. After the consultation all of this information is given to our designers where we begin the process of building your vision.

  • THERE ARE SEVERAL DIFFERENT OPTIONS FOR GETTING SHADE AROUND YOUR POOL. OF COURSE, THE MOST ECONOMICAL SOLUTION IS SMART PLACEMENT OF YOUR POOL. OTHER SOLUTIONS INCLUDE UMBRELLAS, PERGOLAS OR OTHER SHADE STRUCTURES, OR SHADE SAILS THAT ATTACH TO POLES ANCHORED IN YOUR YARD OR YOUR PATIO AND THAT STRETCH ACROSS AREAS THAT NEED PROTECTION FROM THE SUN. SHADE TREES ARE ALSO AN OPTION, BUT YOU MUST CONSIDER HOW MUCH THEY MAY LITTER IN YOUR POOL AND HOW THE ROOT SYSTEM MAY EVENTUALLY INTERFERE WITH YOUR POOL STRUCTURE. ALWAYS CHECK WITH A LANDSCAPER BEFORE PLACING ANY LIVING PLANT AROUND YOUR POOL.

  • There are so many options! Within the pool itself, consider places where people can congregate, such as tables, spas, swim-up bars, or a large shelf step. With lots of kids (or not), you may also want to consider something like a grotto slide with a waterfall cave, which has a bench within it.

    Outside of the pool, you'll want plenty of deck space so that everyone can remain safe. Also, you may want to consider misters to keep everyone cool. Additionally, having areas around your backyard to create natural congregation areas in your backyard areas. These could be pergolas or pavilions. We can add firepits or fire bowls for people to gather around and enjoy company. You can round everything off with an outdoor kitchen to upgrade your ability to entertain your guests.

  • Magic!

    Your Outdoor living consultant will take all of the information gathered from the consultation and meet with a designer and go over details with them.

    The designer will get busy on your rendering and try to get something basic put together in a couple of days, depending on the workload.

    The designer will communicate directly with you regarding any questions that they may have or to get approvals.

    Once you approve your backyard design, the final design and all pertinent dimensions are sent back over to the Consultant to put together a proposal for construction.

  • Now! The reason for this is because we can work with your home builder to meld and the outdoor and home construction. This allows for a congruence of all outdoor living aspects such as outdoor kitchens, landscaping, etc. Paradise Custom Pools has the experience necessary to ensure the pool construction process flows seamlessly with the construction of your new home!

  • Soak your cell in a bucket of 3 parts water and 1 part acid. Always add acid to the water and never vice versa. When it stops bubbling (may take up to 10 minutes), it is clean. Rinse the cell with a garden hose and replace it.

    After we figure it out, we work our magic and get it put on paper. We will make revisions to get exactly what you are looking for.

    After we get the design approved we base our proposal on the approved design.

  • The fastest way is for you to provide us with the most recent copy of your property survey. This will indicate to us where your property lines are at and also show your property to scale. This allows us to build the bones of your design accurately.

    We also ask that you have an inspiration photos or design ideas printed out so that we can use those to guide us with your tastes. We also ask you to provide any layout sketches or ideas that you may been playing around with.

    None of these things are required, but definitely help with the design process.
